Welcome to Dorcas Thoughts! This is my little world where I share my thoughts on topics that interest me which I think would be very useful to you. I finally took the bold step of starting a blog even though I feel so unprepared for it.


 

About The Blog

This blog is aimed at helping you live the life you dream of and improving your state of being; mostly, your mental state of being. I created this blog to create awareness on mental health and self-care and how important it is to slow down and really take care of yourself. As a teenager, I have faced some mental issues on my own, which was really difficult as a result of the stigma and stereotype placed on mental health and self-care. I had no one to direct me on how to live the fulfilled life I always wanted and I don't want anyone else to go through that. As a psychology student, it makes it easy for me to give insights on mental issues and help in any way I can. 

This blog also encompasses topics such as Productivity, Self-improvement, Minimalism and Self-care. I believe there is a misconception that mental health is all about psychology and brain and has nothing to do with our lifestyle, productive level, self-care practices and routines. I hope to share helpful and practical articles on these topic and improve your self-worth greatly.
